In their match against Zimbabwe, the West Indies were in a very precarious position, but thanks to the outstanding play of Rovman Powell and Alzarri Joseph, they were able to pull through and win. Now, getting through to the second round of the Twenty20 World Cup 2022 is not too difficult. If you beat Ireland, then all you need to do is beat the West Indies to advance.
In point of fact, that course of action is going to be taken by each of the four teams that make up the group. All four of Zimbabwe, Ireland, the West Indies, and Scotland have won one of the two matches that they have participated in so far. The teams who qualify will be the ones that win their second encounter.
No net run rate calculations. Winners advance, while losers are sent packing.
The West Indies are undoubtedly the favorites among the cricket betting websites, despite the fact that the odds have gotten longer. Let’s take a more in-depth look, shall we?
Match prediction and betting suggestions for cricket’s Twenty20 World Cup 2022 match between the West Indies and Ireland. On the 21st of October in 2022, the match is scheduled to take place at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart.
WI vs IRE Team Previews
The West Indies batting lineup has struggled in both of its matches against teams that do not possess particularly formidable bowling attacks. Both of these matches were played by West Indies. The West Indians were reduced to 101 for 6 in their match against Zimbabwe after losing to the Scots earlier in the day. Zimbabwe won the match.
There was no genuine spin that was being offered, and there was nothing to indicate that the pitch was acting in an inappropriate manner. There was not a single score of fifty, and there were only four sixes struck. It would appear like Kyle Mayers is lacking in self-assurance, Evin Lewis is unable to hit the ball off the square, and Nicholas Pooran just keeps making odd decisions regarding his shot selection.
At this point in the game, you cannot rely on this batting lineup in any way. Although Ireland does not have the best bowling lineup, we have seen that it is not necessary to have one of the best to put the West Indies in a difficult position.
In the match before this one, Alzarri Joseph performed exceptionally well. He bowled at a fast speed and continued to pick up wickets throughout the match. All three of Jason Holder, Obed McCoy, and Akel Hosein are bowling fairly well, though not quite as well as we have seen them bowl in recent games.

During the previous encounter, Ireland was put under a significant amount of pressure. It was attempting to chase down a difficult goal, but it suffered several early wickets, and the necessary run rate continued to increase. Then, out of nowhere, Curtis Campher and George Dockrell appeared to completely change the trajectory of the game and win the pursuit.
Both Campher and Dockrell finished the game not out with scores of 39 and 72 respectively. Even while the fact that Lorcan Tucker, Andrew Balbirnie, and Harry Tector all received a few at-bats was positive, the fact that Paul Stirling is struggling to find his form is a significant issue. It was anticipated that Stirling, with his extensive expertise gained from competing in T20 competitions all around the world, would serve as the “X” factor in this batting order; however, this has not been the case.
Ireland has demonstrated that it has a good batting lineup that has more depth than is initially apparent despite the fact that their star batsman is out of form. Even while it does not possess the same kind of power as the West Indies, it is more than capable of scoring runs.
Additionally, the death bowling for Ireland is going to be a source of some anxiety for the team. Joshua Little poses a threat up front, but the rest of the bowling is vulnerable if you take him out of the equation. To make this match uncompetitive for the West Indies, all it takes is for one of their many heavy hitters to be taken out of the game.

Pitch and Conditions
The weather prognosis for Hobart is extremely favorable, and it appears that we should not have to deal with any significant setbacks at all. Players have likely failed to take full advantage of the short boundaries at Bellerive Oval since the pitch there has been a touch two-paced, which may be why the boundaries are so short.
However, we believe that scoring between 160 and 170 runs should at the very least be the goal of teams that bat first.
WI vs IRE Betting Tips
In this match, we are going to show our support for the West Indies. Their batters have struck out twice, but they are sure to have at least one successful day in the not-too-distant future. The amount of power and depth contained inside that roster is capable, on their day, of taking down even the top teams. Ireland is not going to surrender without a fight. It will put up a fight, but in the end, there is a possibility that it will not have enough to keep itself afloat.
