LSG vs MI Match Prediction, Dream 11 Prediction & Betting Tips, Odds and Live Score – IPL (24 Apr 2022)

In just over a week, the Lucknow Super Giants will square off against the Mumbai Indians. The first time these two teams met, LSG prevailed by a score of 18. LSG has fared better in IPL 2022 than in MI. As a result, LSG is currently in fourth place in the standings with four wins from seven matches, while MI has lost every one of its seven matches.  LSG vs MI Match Prediction

Since no team has ever lost its first eight games in the IPL’s history, MI stands to set new records with each loss that occurs going forward. When it comes to picking our team, we’ve had a hard time understanding MI’s selections because they’re so out of character.

LSG is the slight favourite to win this match, according to the best IPL betting sites.

For LSG vs MI in the 2022 IPL, here are some match predictions and IPL betting tips. The game will take place on April 24th, 2022, at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.

LSG vs MI Team Previews

Lucknow Super Giants

LSG’s previous match against RCB was marred by a series of tactical miscues. For LSG, keeping Stoinis out for so long is one of their most obvious mistakes. What a waste of a player who can do so much more.

Quinton de Kock and KL Rahul are under a lot of pressure to score runs in every match. So far, only these two LSG players have amassed more than 200 runs in the IPL 2022 competition. LSG’s batting will be in serious jeopardy if these two players go down early.

Consider KL Rahul’s record against MI in the past when making this decision. In 15 games, he has scored 764 runs at an average of 76.4 against them! He appears to relish the opportunity to face them. For this match, you can wager on his individual Over/Under total.

Ayush Badoni, Ayush Pandey, Krunal Pandya, Deepak Hooda, and Manish Pandey make up the middle order for LSG. Since Stoinis and Holder are often left with insufficient time to make an impact, this is a mistake.

We also think LSG’s bowling attack is a bit shaky. However, Ravi Bishnoi, who usually controls the match with tight bowling, went for runs earlier this season and all of them struggled. Jason Holder appears to be the designated death bowler, while Sudhmanth Chameera takes the new ball. Krunal Pandya, Marcus Stoinis, and Avesh Khan can all contribute, but they’re not as good as the players on some other teams.

At least a few of LSG’s players are currently on top form. However, it isn’t nearly as good as it used to be.

Lucknow Super Giants Playing 11

KL Rahul (c), Quinton de Kock (wk), Manish Pandey, Marcus Stoinis, Deepak Hooda, Ayush Badoni, Krunal Pandya, Jason Holder, Dushmantha Chameera, Avesh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi.

Mumbai Indians

When MI had CSK on the ropes, they must have thought they had finally won their first match of the IPL 2022 season. Unadkat’s meltdown in the final over led to a 16-run loss in the final four balls, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.

MI’s ability to assemble such an impressive roster continues to amaze. For their four overseas players, they used Rilee Meredith, Dewald Brevis, and Kieron Pollard. However, it doesn’t appear as if Tim David will get any more chances this season, which would have been great to see him in there.

That’s a real shame, because David is currently one of the most fearsome middle-order hitters in the world today.

Three prominent batsmen, Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Kieron Pollard, are all out of sorts at the moment. When it comes to Dewald Brevis, he’s played poorly in his previous two games and needs to deliver on the promise that everyone talks about.

Currently, only Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma appear to be on top of their game. SKY and Tilak Varma are good bets if you have to wager on MI’s batsmen.

With Rohit’s selections, it was clear that MI’s bowling was in need of some attention. It seemed to work, as Daniel Sams, Jasprit Bumrah, Riley Meredith, and even Hrithik Shokeen had solid performances.

Though Jaydev Unadkat was abysmal. We may see a few more lineup tweaks as MI continues to search for a winning formula.

Any of the MI bowlers will not be a part of our wagers in this match.

Mumbai Indians Playing 11

Rohit Sharma (c), Ishan Kishan (wk), Dewald Brevis, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Kieron Pollard, Daniel Sams, Hrithik Shokeen, Riley Meredith, Arjun Tendulkar, Jasprit Bumrah.

As has been the choice of every captain thus far, the team that wins the toss will want to bat first.

Check out our toss prediction guide for more information on how we come to our conclusions.

Wankhede is expected to provide excellent batting conditions. Over 400 runs were scored in a previous match here, and the ball sailed over the fences with relative ease. This time, too, we expect the same outcome. A high-scoring match where both teams score at least 170 can be expected.

Betting on total runs, total sixes, or total fours can help you take advantage of this

LSG vs MI Betting Tips

The Mumbai Indians are our pick to win this game. Because of this, you should place a bet on them. As the underdog, MI has a strong core of Indian internationals, which is rare for an underdog in this position. First of all, we believe that this LSG team is extremely vulnerable. The best strategy appears to be chasing the odds.

The Mumbai Indians are the team to back.
