The Pakistan Super League 2022 is only a few matches old, but things are already looking exciting. High-scoring match between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi, with Zalmis coming out on top. The Gladiators appeared to be in good shape, but they will need to put in a lot of practise before their next match.
Quetta Gladiators will face Karachi Kings in the next round of the tournament, who also had a poor start. Both teams are coming off defeats and will be looking for their first victory. It’s scheduled for the National Stadium in Karachi on January 29th, 2022, for a match between the Karachi Kings and the Quetta Gladiators.
KK vs QG Team Previews
The Karachi Kings entered the tournament as one of the favourites to win the title, and their performance in the opening match will leave them bitterly disappointed. When it came to punishing bad deliveries, they lacked both intent and a degree of caution. In the middle of the innings, it appeared as though they were playing a fifty-over game.
In theory, a top-order featuring Sharjeel Khan, Babar Azam, and Joe Clarke should be able to unleash a devastating powerplay. The Karachi Kings were in trouble at the end of their innings, however, when Babar Azam, Joe Clarke, and Mohammad Nabi all scored runs at a snail’s pace. While they had been planning for an assault that would net them 124, they were unable to carry it out.
To the credit of their bowlers, their 124 total appeared to be much higher than it actually was. Despite Multan Sultans’ strong start, the Kings’ bowlers did not give away too many freebies, allowing the Sultans to score easily. Mohammad Nabi, in particular, performed admirably, taking two crucial wickets in a fine spell.
It’s safe to say that the batsmen for the Karachi Kings are all capable of scoring big runs. To win this game, they’ll need to be more focused. As a result, they’re not expected to panic just yet, given their experience. A dangerous opponent, if they are as good as they are capable of being, are the ones who will enter the game with the same lineup as us.

While the Quetta Gladiators came very close to a victory in their opening match, their inability to maintain their batting momentum may have cost them two crucial points. Due to the early stage of the tournament, they are now in third place on the ladder, a position that is likely to change quickly.
Will Smeed looked in great form as he smashed a fifty against Peshawar Zalmi in his first innings. As a result of his dismissal, the Zalmi lost momentum and ended up with a total of 190, which at one point looked like 210.
Sarfaraz Khan, the Gladiators’ captain, made a few questionable decisions when the Zalmis were batting well. Captain Shoaib Malik’s presence at the crease proved to be the deciding factor in the outcome of the match, and he played an important role in that.
On paper, the Quetta Gladiators have a solid team, but they’ll need to step up their middle-overs bowling if they’re going to take on Karachi Kings’ formidable batting lineup. If they’re able to do that, it will be extremely difficult to get past them.

KK VS QG BETTING TIPS
Both these sides are sitting with losses in their previous matches respectively and will be desperate to get off the mark in the competition. Considering how the two sides played in their last respective matches and their sides on paper, Karachi Kings look a slightly better side. For that reason and the factors stated above, we would be placing our money on a Karachi win and so should you.
