After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya made an odd decision that cost his team a win against PBKS. The same can be said for the second time. In the absence of Shubman Gill and Hardik Pandya, the GT batting line-up was unable to get going.
The loss of both of these batsmen at the same time should raise red flags for the GT team’s batting order. A quick start from Wriddhiman Saha got the team off to a good start, but you don’t look to him for big scores. After he gets a good start, he has a bad habit of blowing it.
David Miller, with the assistance of Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan, bailed the team out game after game. Only Sai Sudharshan was able to get the team to a reasonable total when the other players failed.
In the end, GT was at least 30 runs behind. In spite of GT’s dominance on the field, we are concerned about their batting and believe that another poor batting performance may be on the horizon for them despite their impressive record. Adding another batsman to the side could improve the team’s balance, but that would put more pressure on Pandya to bowl.
Rashid Khan, Mohammad Shami, and Lockie Ferguson are the only options for the bowling attack. That being said, we do have concerns for Pradeep Sangwan and Alzarri Joseph.
Among GT’s five wins in the final over, two were achieved on the final ball. We could see GT lose a few games in a row if they had a little bit of good fortune.

There is no doubt that Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan have not yet played to their full potential at the highest level, but they will now be given the opportunity to do so. The MI lineup is currently supported by Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma in the middle.
One of these two would be our choice for MI’s top batsman in this match.
This series has shown that the bowling of MI has been particularly vulnerable, and we are still of the opinion that this issue has not yet been fully resolved. Kumar Kartikeya and Hrithik Shokeen make up the majority of the team’s spinners. Hardik Pandya, David Miller and even Rahul Tewatia could put them in a predicament.
The fast bowlers must bear the brunt of the responsibility for taking wickets. International players Jasprit Bumrah, Rilee Meredith, and Daniel Sams all have a lot of experience. Even though Bumrah has been economical, the wickets have not been falling, and as a result, MI has struggled.
However, MI will face a batting lineup that has its own issues with form and depth, which is fortunate for the Wolverines The MI bowlers may be able to improve their performance.
